Today was my weekly craft class and how I love these days. They are so much more than just a craft class, I have known most of the ladies for many years now and they have now become such special friends.

For me holding a class is so much more than completing a craft project, we laugh together, needing our Tena ladies frequently, like today! We share our highs and lows, cry together and most importantly offer huge support when needed. The get togethers are social, mindful, therapeutic and oh so enjoyable. I am fortunate to have a great space now at home, one lady even brings her slippers. For me it’s important to provide a welcoming, comfortable space where everyone can relax and enjoy escaping for a few hours. It’s the vision I had when I first decided to hold the classes at my home in fact it’s even better than I imagined and I treasure the times we all spend together, such happy memories.

With it being December 1st on Sunday I wanted to treat the ladies to an Advent calendar. All 8 places set up, tea, coffee and treats at the ready…

After welcoming everyone in his own special way Frasier is behind bars! Lol, where he mostly sleeps for the duration…

This weeks project is a gift I designed based on the tee pee card, it holds a battery tea light. As always the ladies did a fantastic job of theirs. I’ve also added the images from their fabulous makes last week which was a tee pee card design, we are rather liking these a lot at the moment! Lots are being made at home by the ladies after class, they’re all so brilliant.

I’m midway through making my tutorials for these, it’s been so hectic but I am getting there…
